Corporate Challenge Race

Inspired by the success of the Entertainment Industry Challenge, the Corporate Challenge was introduced in 2004 for corporations to compete in the Malibu Triathlon presented by Bank of America. The Malibu Triathlon raises over $1 million each year for pediatric cancer research at CHLA. The event has raised $15 million to date.

How to


Race Entry Fee + min. $250 in donations

  1. Individuals and relay teams are responsible for the race entry fee + a min. of $250 in pledges/donations.
  2. Relay teams may have 1 athlete complete 2 legs of the race.​
  3. Relay teams may be all female, all male, or mixed.

Team spots must be registered and paid by June 1, 2021

All donations must be received by September 3, 2021

3+ ways to win


1. Corporate Living Proof

This award is given to the company that raises the most money for CHLA.​
The winning team receives a special plaque.

2. Team with the Highest Average Fundraising

The team with the highest average fundraising will receive a plaque and personalized packet pick-up for the 2021 race at their office a week before race weekend.
Only teams with 20+ registrations are eligible.

3. Tri-Cup

The company with the fastest times will be awarded the Tri-Cup.​ The winning team gets to keep an engraved trophy for a year.
Times are tallied for each time using the 10 top athletes per team (top 5 male and top 5 female).​
Teams must have at least 10 finishers.​ Teams must have at least 5 female finishers.
